This year we went to the beach at Washington Oaks State Park which is about a mile south of Marineland. It's a really cool beach. There are tons of collection worthy shells and huge coquina rocks. It almost looks like a California beach the way the rocks are all built up. The kids love going there. Zachary calls it "Super Shell City" after the Shell City in the Spongebob movie. It was a tad bit windy when we were there and the spray off the waves was pretty bad but we still got some nice pictures. Zachary was a little jumpy when it came to the waves though so several of the pictures reflect his growing apprehension. We were going to use the picture above for our card this year except Holly's eyes are all scrunched up from the still bright sun. Notice Zachary isn't such a wimp sun wise, just wave wise.
