And for several days following there was much rejoicing as unwanted calls were left to the answering machine for Susan loath to speak on the phone unnecessarily.

Then on the last day, Jack receiveth the phone bill and it was bad for it was not less as the silver-tongued sales call devil had proclaimed but $20 more and Jack was not pleased.

And lo he raised his mighty phone and smote Bellsouth with words of anger and disappointment and removal of new features and Susan and Holly wailed in anguish for now we would not know who was calling before we answered.

And Jack proclaimed "If thou want Caller ID…gettest thou a job" and Susan was not pleased.
